MOUNT EDEN BRANCH
HOSPITAL AUXILIARY
A monthly meeting of the Mount Eden Hospital Auxiliary was held this week, when a considerable amount of business was finalised, the meeting being the last for the year. Reports wero (received from the various committees, all showing interest in the work. During flio month Sister Muicoek had assisted nine families, in each case an order for extra diet having been given, at an approximate cost of £5. This amount is raised monthly by the branch and a jumble salo and several private donations have helped the finances for this month. The junior branch, started only a few months ago, has been very enthusiastic in the work. Members have visited tho hospital and liavo supplied several boys with clothes. In order to raise funds they had a picture night at the Civic and also arranged several bridge evenings, which have proved a success. Special thanks were expressed to Madame Valoskft, who assisted through Ivor annual entertainment.
