NEW CONCRETE ROAD
EXPERIMENT AT WHANGAREI

WHANGAREI, Tuesday Tho Whangarei Borough Council at its meeting last evening adopted a recommendation by tho Works Committee that tho proposed experimental strip of concrete road of a new typo be laid on Walton Street toward Cameron Street 18ft. wide. This decision is the result of an offer from Wilsons (N.Z.) Portland Cement, Limited, to provide tho cement required for the work free of cost to tho council, delivered on the work.
