Mrs. Harry Payne Whitney, a noted sculptor and a member of the Yanderbilt family, has presented to the New York Museum of Natural History the priceless world-famous Rothschilds, collection of birds.

The 280,000 specimens include Mr. Gregory Mathews' Australian and Sir Walter Buller's New Zealand collections, a Pacific Island section, with specimens of extinct Hawaiian birds and a large British section.
