FRANCE'S STRONG POSITION
British "Wireless RUGBY, Nov. 19 In view of the British proposal that the air forces of the leading Powers be reduced, it is of interest to quote the air strengths of the Powers as given in the current League of Nations' Armaments Year Book. The figures, which are for last year and refer to aeroplanes and seaplanes, are as follows: Franco 2375, not including 605 spare machines. L'nited States, 1752 Japan, 1639. Italy, 1507. Britain, 1434.
