MADGE TITHERADGE

Miss Madge Titheradgo, who, until her retirement and marriago in 1928, was one of the outstanding figures on the London stage, is considering a number of offers to return, states a London newspaper.

Cables and transatlantic telephone calls have been passing between Miss Titheradge and London impresarios, and it is expected that Miss Titheradgo will find their offers too tempting to refuse. At tho time of her marriago to Mr. Park, an American millionaire, Miss Titheradgo declared that nothing would make her return to stage life. Mr. Park, however, in common with many other American business men, suffered losses during the Wall Street slump, and recently his wife dismissed a number of her servants and started doing much of her own housework at their home in Rye, near New York.
