NEW MATANGI CHURCH
FOUNDATION STONE LAID

HAMILTON, Monday
The foundation stone of the new M»tangi Church was laid on. Saturday afternoon by the Rt. Rev. C. A. Cherrington, Bishop of "Waikato. Bishop Cherrington congratulated the parishioners of Matangi on their splendid efforts during the last few years in raising the money required for the building. A flower show organised by the Matangi Ladies' Guild was opened by the bishop after the foundation stone had been laid.
