PRINCE OF WALES
VISIT TO BELFAST ORANGE WELCOME PREPARED LONDON, Oct. 30 The Manchester Guardian says a stir was created in Belfast by the publication in the Nationalist newspaper of the text of a circular issued to 200 Orange lodges in the city. This emphasised a desire to maintain the traditions of the Imperial province and to give the Prince of Wales a right Royal welcome on the occasion of his forthcoming visit. Accordingly the Grand Lodge has offered the assistance of Belfast Orangemen for lining and safeguarding the four-mile route from the City Hall to Parliament Buildings. At least 10,000 brethren are required and will rank as volunteer constables. Each will wear a distinguishing badge.
