SO A Government loan of 80,000,000 dollars (about £16,000.000 at par) is to be offered to the Canadian public to-morrow. Of this total 55,000,000 dollars is to be issued at 4 per cent for 20 years at 93.45, a yield of 4£ per cent. The remaining 25,000,000 dollars is to be issued at 4 per cent for three years at 99.20, a yield of 4.23 per cent. Advance subscriptions to date total 12,000,000 dollars.
