YOUNG MAN FINED £lO OPERATING AS AN AGENT An admission that ho, had kept his premises; in, Great North Road, Point Chevalier, as a common gaming house, was made by Perry Edwin Cornish, aged 24, hairdresser, in the Police Court yesterday. In asking for leniency counsel for the defence, Mr. R. N. bloody, said accused was the proprietor of a small business, and during the past seven or night weeks ho had been taking silver bets in an cflort to augment his earnings.
