LOOTED PROPERTY FOUND FARM LABOURER IMPRISONED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] "WELLINGTON, Monday As !i sequel to rioting in Wellington last May the police traced the ownership of a coat which""had looted property in the pocket:; to Boy Alfred Bvford, ;i farm labourer. Ho pleaded guilty to-day to charges of stealing coins and a brooch valued at £5 10s', tho property of Walter Smart, and three, pairs of socks, valued at 65., tho property of Keans, Ltd. Byford was sentenced to one month's imprisonment.
