VISIT OF MR. COATES
DEPARTURE THIS EVENING The Rt., Hon. J. G. Coates returned to Auckland yesterday afternoon by motor-car after spending the week-end at his home at Matakohe. He wai accompanied by his private secretary, Dr. R. M. Campbell. Mr. Coates was entertained at dinner last evening by members of the Auckland Club. Ho will transact official business at. the Grand Hotel to-day and will leave for Wellington by the limited express this evening.
