INJURY TO AN EYE
LOSS OF SIGHT FEARED WESTFIELD FREEZING WORKER Whilo working in the freezing chambers at the Westfield Freezing Company's works yesterday afternoon, Mr. Maurice Levdon, married, aged 37, of Great South Road, Otahuhu, received painful injuries to his left eye. He was engaged in hanging meat on hooks, when he was struck in the eye by the sharp end of one hook. Mr. Leydon was taken to the Auckland Hospital by tho St. John ambulance. It is feared that ho may lose the sight of the eye.
