NELSON PUDDING

Two ounces cornflour, 3oz. cake crumbs, 2oz. ground almonds, 4oz. currants, one teaspoonful ground cinnamon, loz. shredded suet, three eggs, one gill of milk, lemon rindf Mix cornflour and milk smoothly; boil a few minutes. When cool, stir in beaten eggs, cake crumbs, ground almouds, suet, cinnamon, grated lemon rind and sugar. Pour into buttered mould sprinkled thickly with currants and steam for two hours.
