CROQUET OPENING
The opening of the Auckland Croquet Club was held. on .Tuesday. The president, Mrs ' Pegler, gave a very encouraging address to the members and guests. Progressive croquet was played and prizes were won by Mrs. Windsor and Mrs. Lusher. Afternoon tea was served in theAuckland Bowling Club's pavilion, where the tables were decorated with flowers in the club colours. There were present: Mcsdames Hamilton, Lusher, Exley, Windsor, Clark, Wetherelt, Robertson, Ellis, Bray, Gould, Davton, Shanly, Williams, Wilis, Furby, Fletcher, • * Hoi lis, Stevenson, Mooney, Graj*;. Bell, Daniels, Ross, ..Miss Brown, Miss Coldicutt. .
