ANTI-DUMPING DUTY
CANADA AND BRITAIN (Received October 27, 6.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Oct. 26 Questioned in the House of Commons regarding the Canadian Government's attitude toward the anti-dumping surcharge, based on the rate of exchange, the Dominions Secretary. Mr. J. H. Thomas, said sympathetic consideration had been promised of the possibility of reducing, if nob wholly abolishing, the duty in so far as it applied to imports lo the United Kingdom.
