RIFLE TEAM COMEDY
When the members of the New Zea« land rifle team that competed in the recent championship meeting in NewSouth Wales reached Wellington in the Zealandia this week they were obliged to r.o-register their rifles. When the team left the Dominion the rifles were deregistered, and on the return of the marksmen the weapons were carefully examined by the authorities before they could be removed from the ship. " As per regulations, I suppose," said a Inember of the team, as he carried his carefully-wrapped rifle down the gangway.
