CASES OF VANDALISM
LARGE SIGN RUINED Twice recently the owners of a tea garden and holiday resort at Ramarama have been subjected io the annoyance and expense of vandalism. The property is known as "Raventhorpe," and about four months ago a large metal raven which was suspended as a sign was taken away. The present owner, Mr. F. «!o vsey, took possession about- two months ago and had a large" signboard painted setting out the various attractions of the property. One night this week the whole of this sign was blotted out with black paint. Mr. Jowsey estimates that it wil' cost him ( £lO to restore the sign.
