KICKED DOWNSTAIRS
RECTOR OF STIFFKEY CHURCHWARDEN'S ADMISSION LONDON, Oct. 14 Major Hammond, a magistrate and acting-churchwarden at Morston, Norfolk, admitted that when the Rev. H. F. Davidson, the rector concerned in the notorious Stiffkey trial recently, came to demand the keys of the church, he kicked him downstairs. Major Hammond was fined £2 for assault.;
