FLIERS LEAVE AMERICA
MRS. MILLER AND LANCASTER DEPORTATION STORY DENIED (Receiver! October 16, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, Oct. 15 Mrs. Keith Miller, Australian airwoman, sailed for London yesterday. She left the country in accordance with an agreement made with the United Slates Labour Department. The Labour Commissioner at Washington, Mr. Hull, said Mrs. Miller was not deported. A woman immigration officer accompanied her on board the steamer to certify to her departure. A previous report that Mrs. Miller had been deported on the ground of "moral turpitude"—a charge arising out of her evidence at tho trial of Captain W. N. Lancaster in connection with tho death of Haden Clarke at, Miami, Florida—was erroneous. Captain Lancaster sailed on a different ship several hours later. An immigration officer accompanied him to his cabin and subsequently waited on the wharf until the ship was under way.
