COLLAPSE OF TRAMPER
CASE CONSIDERED SERIOUS While taking part in the Railway Department's "Mystery Hike" to Opaheke yesterday, Mr. William Stevenson, aged 52, who lives in Sylvan Avenue, Mount Eden, suddenly collapsed. He was attended by Dr. G. W. Lock, of Papakura, and was later taken by the St. John Ambulance to the Auckland Hospital. At a late hour last evening Mr. Stevenson, who is a billiard room proprietor, was still unconscious and his condition was considered -serious..
