INJURIES TO JOCKEY
HORSE FALLS IN RACE A jockey, Roderick Mcßae, aged 18, of 19 Puriri Avenue, Green Lane, suffered concussion and abrasions when his horse, Hawthorn, fell during the running of the Swanson Handicap at the Avondale Jockey Club's meeting on Saturday. After attention by the St. John Ambulance he was taken to the Auckland Hospital, his condition last evening being not serious.
