LANCASHIRE COTTON TRADE MILLS REOPEN WEDNESDAY (Received September 25, 11.55 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 25 The cotton, strike in Lancashire has been settled.
The mills are to be reopened on Wednesday. Wages are to be reduced Is Bjd in tho pound, compared with tho employers' proposed 2s. The employers have agreed to urge the re employment of displaced operatives at the earliest possible moment. The " more looms to a weaver " system will not bo extended pending joint consideration. ANOTHER SETTLEMENT
LONDON BUS WORKERS AGREEMENT COMPLETED (Received September 25. 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Sept. 2-1 .Representatives of the underground group and officials of the men's union have signed an jigreement embodying the terms of the settlement of the dispute with the London bus employees.
