GIBE AT PRINCE
GERMAN THEATRE REVUE OFFENDING JOKE DELETED (Received September 25, 5.5 p.m.) BERLIN. Sept. 24 A scene* in a revue at a Berlin theatre in which was a gibe at the Prince of Wales considerably offended the British colony. The jest has been deleted as the result of the Foreign Office's representations.
The manager of the theatre, in agreeing to tho deletion, said, nevertheless, ho was quite sure the Prince never would object to the harmless joke.
