DIXIELAND
Baskets of vividly green ferns gave a very attractive effect to Dixieland Cabaret on Saturday evening. There was a largo attendance of dancers and some very charming and graceful flocks weio to be s?en under the shaded lights. A special dance number—a Nautch dance — was given by Miss Muriel Wilton, a dancer who is new to Auckland, and this was followed by a tap dance. Both were very well received. The Dixieland, Orchestra played delightful music for dancing, their numbers including several old-time airs, as well as the very latest in danco mus'ic. A featuro of Dixieland in a_ short time will be the rose garden which is full of promise of a wonderful display of roses. With tho open windows, through which came a light breeze straight from the sea, the cabaret was delightfully cuol and fresh tho whole evening.
