OLD PUPILS' REUNION

HAMILTON HIGH SCHOOL A SUCCESSFUL GATHERING [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Sunday Old pupils of the Hamilton High School from all part 3 of the district and a number from Auckland and Wellington, gathered in Hamilton yesterday for the annual reunion. The attendance was tho largest there has been at tho reunion. Tho annual dinner was held last evening, Mr. C. A. Speight presiding over a largo attendance. The ceremonies concluded with a danco held by tho Old Girls' and Old Boys' Associations in tho school assembly hall. In reviewing the past year's operations at the 21st annual meeting of tho Old Boys' Association, tho'president, Mr. C. A. Speight, said the activities during tho period had proved very successful, and members could bo proud of tho strong position the association had attained. Strong branches had been formed in Auckland and Wellington. Members had always taken a keen interest in the welfare of the school, and it was interesting to note in this connection that since 1920 tho old boys had raised about £SOO for various purposesi.

The following officers were elected: — Patron, the headmaster, Mr. E. Wilson; president, Mr. C. A. Speight; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. H. G. Carter, J. R. FitzGerald; secretary, Mr, D. E. Malins; as-sistant-secretary, Mr. P. A.- West; committee, Messrs. E. F. Clayton-Greene, L. Tompkins, A. Peterson, K. Welch, T. A. Ewan; auditor, Mr. R.. B. Westwater. District representatives: Auckland, Mr. H. Innes; Wellington, Mr. C. Dunford; Christchurch, Mr. L. G. Anderson; Dunedin, Mr. C. N. Smith; Paterangi, Mr. J. L. Macky ; Morrinsville, Mr. K. Campbell; Cambridge, Mr. C. Thompson; Huntly, Mr. A. 11. Northmore. Following wore tho results of football matches played between teams representingl past and present pupils:—Senior: Past, 6, defeated Present, 3. Junior: Past, 19, defeated Present, 14.
