DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIP [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN. Sunday. Tho final of the Now Zealand amateur billiards championship, played yesterday, was won by C. Mason (Dunedin), who defeated' A. Bowie (Dunedin), by 1500 points to 1250. Mason quickly took the lead and was never headed, but Bowie was dangerously close at times, and he never ceased to light. Tho game was interesting all the way and both gave fine exhibitions of bil]in i ds, Mason specialising in cannons and Bowio in in-off shots. Mason's best breaks were G3, 54, 49. 45. 41. 42 and 40. aud Bowie's 58, 55, 54, 53, 45 and 44.
