FIRST CHURCH ANNIVERSARY [FROM OtTR OWN enRRESFONPEXT] HAMILTON. Sunday Thfi 20th anniversary of the founding of First, Church, Frankton, was celehrated at special services to-day. Originally part of the Hamilton parish, (he church was separated in 1910 and in the following year was constituted a mission station, being raised to the status of a charge in 1913. The foundation stone of the present church was laid on September 25. 1912. the first minister being the Rev. A. Gow. The celebrations commenced with a reunion of old parishioners in the parish hall last evening, the minister, the Rev. S. J. Atkins, presiding over .a large attendance. A special communion service was held this morning and in the afternoon a youth rally of members of Bible classes, Sunday School scholars, Girl Guides and Boy Scouts was held. The concluding function will be a Scottish fair next Tuesday, which will be opened by the Mayoress, Mrs. F. D. Pinfold.
