GROW YOUR OWN
MAGICAL RESULTS What is nicer than to grow your own sandwiches ? Mustard and cress is one of the easiest things to grow, and you can soon have a supply for supper. It can be grown almost anywhere—in boxes or flower pots, or saucer.
But the easiest way of all is to knock out the bottom from a wooden box and stretch across instead a piece of thick, clean flannel, being careful to tie it
securely in place. Moisten the material, sprinkle it well with seeds, and then hide away the box in a spot that is warm anddark.
You will soon be able to see the rnagica results. When the seeds are really sprout ing the box can be removed into the day light and kept in a room, or on a window sill
When the mustard and cress has grown big enough you can cut it for the table, like a hairdresser with his scissors.
