A most successful dance, organised by a combined committee representing the Birkenhead Fire Brigade and Borough Band, was held in the Foresters' Hall at Birkenhead. The Mayor, Mr. G. Mills, with the members of the borough council, and town clerk, Mr. H. Kemp, were present. The music was supplied by the Merrymakers' Orchestra. The floor arrangements were in charge of Mr. W.
