COOK FINED FOR ASSAULT On a charge of assault Samuel Louis Martial, aged 52, ship's cook, was fined 10s by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday: .On a further chargo of drunkenness a fine of 5s was imposed. Default was fixed at 48 hours' imprisonment. John Alfred George Grimmer was fined £2 10s and costs, in default seven days in prison, for using indecent language in Cleveland Road, Parnell. For using obscene language in Hobsori Street Charles William Purdy was fined Jtl and costs, with the alternative of three days in prison.
