Tho girl victim is the mother of a fourmonths' old infant. She was strolling past tho liouso with three friends when she noticed the sputtering fuse of tho bomb. Tho young man attempted to extinguish it when tho device exploded hurling him and the young woman 10 feet away. Judge McGoorty and his family were badly shaken but not injured. Tho Mayor, Mr. A. J. Cerinak, immediately organised extraordinary efforts to criminals. Judge McGoorty has givt# the authorities possible clues to individuals who may be seeking to revenge themselves upon him. There have been 78 bomb explosions in Chicago since January 1, and six persons havo been injured.
