NEW SOUTH WALES AREAS DELUGE IN SYDNEY TRAM FOOTBOARDS AWASH WATER-LOGGED MOTOR-CARS By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright ■ (Received September 22, 8.35 p.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 22 Torrential rain fell in tho coastal districts of New South Wales to-day and is continuing. There is a very real danger of floods in the dairying districts. A regular deluge fell in the city to-day, the water at times running over the footboards of trams. It also penetrated houses and basements, causing considerable damage. Water-logged motor-cars were quite common sights and many had to bo towed away.
