CONTROL OF CRICKET
AUSTRALIAN BOARD BOWLERS NOT TO USE RESIN (Received September 22, 10.35 xj.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 22 Tho Australian Cricket Board of Control has endorsed the decision of the MaryleWn© Cricket Club disallowing bowlers to use resin. The board has accepted Alan Fairfax's explanation of his breaking of his agreement by playing for Accrington before lie was entitled to do so. It is announced that tho board cannot accede to South Africa's request to permit the Australians to play there on their return from England in 1934, but it is pre* pared to negotiate a separate tour for a future date.
