GANDHI EMULATED WAVE OF EMOTIONALISM (Received September 22, C.55 p.m.) CALCUTTA. Sept. 21 The Indian Nationalist leader, Gandhi, was smiling and cheerful at the end of his first day's fast. . A wave of emotionalism is sweeping through the country. Hundreds of Ihdians of all castes and creeds are fasting in sympathy with Gandhi. Even political prisoners are declining to eat food.
