NO FRESH APPOINTMENTS DOMINION TOTAL OF 60C0 [BY TELEGRAPH —SPECIAL REPORTER] "WELLINGTON, Thursday There is no intention of appointing fur* ther justices of the peace at present, according to a reply given by the Minister of Justice, the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, to an inquiry to-day. Mr. Cobbe indicated that further appointments might be considered early next year. New Zealand at present has about 6000 justices.
