WHANGAREI CLUB [FROM Ot'P. own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Thursday The animal meeting of the Whangarei Croquet Club was held yesterday afternoon, the president, Mrs. L. Baigent, presiding over a large attendance of members. The balance-sheet disclosed a substantial credit balance. Mrs Baigent, in moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, congratulated the club on the successful year's operations. The following officers were elected.President. Mrs.- G. S. B. Morrison: vice-presi-dent, Mrs. J. Finlayson; secretary. Mrs, J. E. Holmes; treasurer. Mrs. G. Harrison; committee. Mrs. F. G. RadclifTe, Mrs. J. Walker. Mrs. H. Scally, Mrs. T. E. Woodman. Mrs.-T. R. Caplin. Mrs. L. Baigent: ground superintendent. Mrs. W., Delamore; match committee, Mesdames E. N. Boult, A. R. Crane, J. Walker; tea committee, Mesdames C. H. G. Hedditch and J. Morton. ' / ,
