WRESTLING
DETTON AND MAMOS An attractive match has been arranged at the Town Hall for next Monday evening by the Auckland Wrestling Association, when Harry Mamos will meet Dean Detton. The last-named, a. graduate of the Utah University, aged 25 years, has been wrestling as a professional for five years and had over 300 bouts with 250 wins. Weighing about 13st. Blb., ho is reported to be an agile and clever exponent. He holds wins over such prominent wrestlers as Alley! Kilonis, Thye. Martin Ludecke, Raluh Hands, Abo Coleman and Hugh Nicols. Mamos will be remembered for his recent fine showing against Walker, when he forced the British Empire champion to a draw in the boul rt the Town Hall. This will be the second occasion on which Detton and Mamoa have met in New Zealand, the pair drawing at Wellington last Wednesday. Another fine contest is anticipated when tliey meet again on Monday evening.
