Bugle Call (Fearn) and Helium (Grice) were not doing their best to run seven furlongs in 1.37 2-5. Great Emblem (Wynd) ran five furlongs on the plough in 1.7. Tea Trader (Walters) gave another demonstration of his brilliant speed by ruunjne three furlongs in 30 l-ss. He gave High Comedy (Edwards) a start of 1 2-5s and heat him 'easily after heading him at the turn. High Comedy's time was 335. Palace (Gray) was tho narrowest marem in front of'Thespis (McFarlane). with Huntingdon (Craig) a couple of lengths awav. at the end of five furloncs in 1.3 3-5.
