" TREMBLES IF SEES WORK" "Accused is a man who can eat well and sleep well, but when he sees work he starts to tremble," said Major Holmes, of the Salvation Army, in the Polfce Court yesterday, when Percy Ogden, aged 50, labourer, was charged with being an incorrigible rogue with insufficient means of support. Accused pleaded guilty. Detective-Sergeant McHugh said accused had been about the parks and ♦streets for, a month. He was a man who would not work. He had no unemployment levy book, and was not registered at the Labour Bureau. Accused* was sentenced to six months' imprisonment.
