FARMER'S WRIST BROKEN
MISHAP WHEN CRANKING CAR [BY TELEGRAPH—OWN correspondent] WHANGAREI. Tuesday While cranking his car to-day, Mr. William King, aged 48 years, a farmer of Mangawai, had his wrist fractured when the engine backfired. He was conveyed to the Whangarei Hospital.
