BODY IN HARBOUR
MAN NOT IDENTIFIED ROPE WITH STONE ATTACHED Tho body of an elderly man, with a rope tied round his waist and the other end attached to a heavy stone, was found in tho harbour inside tho eastern tide deflector at Mechanics' Bay shortly after three o'clock yesterday afternoon. Tho body, which had been in the water for about 24 hours, had not been identified last night. The deceased was about 55 years of age, sft. Bin. in height, and slightly built. Ho was dressed in a dark tweed suit and wore a grey shirt.
