MEETINGS WITH BANKERS
MINISTER IN LONDON
LONDON, Sept. 16
Mr. W. Downie Stewart, New Zealand Minister of Finance, to-day received visits from bankers and Treasury officials, - and Mr. Montagu Norman, Governor of the Bank of England, with whom he spent an hour.
Sir Thomas Wilford, High Commissioner, will preside at the New Zealand Society's luncheon to be given in Mr. Stewart's honour on September 23.
