AERO CLUB DANCE
The associate members of the Auckland Aero Club held a very successful Hawaiian dance at the clubhouse, Mangere, on Saturday. A hula dance, and a solo played on a steel guitar, were features of the evening and Hawaiian music was played by the orchestra. Spring flowers made attractive decorations in the rooms. Mrs. Scrimgeour acted as hostess and wore a frock of black satin crepe with coatee to match. Others who were present were: Mrs. S. A. Andrew, who wore cyclamen faille; Mrs. Spencer Mason, gold lame; Mrs. G. McKillop, cream panne velvet; Mrs. Williams, black satin beaute; Mrs. Spears, pink and black 'ninon; Mrs. Robb, black satin and velvet; Mrs. E. L. Ryan, blue angel skin; Mrs. Cecil Jocob, midnight blue satin; Mrs. Jack Perkins, black silk lace; Mrs. F. Treanor, black georgette; Mrs. J. K. Hall, pale green angel skin; Mrs. L. W. Swan, white satin; Mrs. Tappenden, parchment faille; Miss E. Ashwin, Lido blue chenille georgette; ..Miss E. Franklin, apricot georgette; Miss Edna Burgundy panne; Miss L. Impey, white silk lace; Miss W. Peak, flesh faille; Miss Raie Robinson, scarlet lace; Miss M. O'Brian, cherry georgette; Miss Furnell, daffodil ninon; Miss Myra Rowe, pink georgette and satin coatee; Miss Min Matthews, scarlet taffeta; Miss V. Pankhurst, apricot lame; Miss Tats Edwards, lemon taffeta; Miss Val McCallum, lilac faille; Miss 0. Rowe, green tulle; Miss Williams, bottle green satin; Miss Joan Long, ivory taffeta; Miss M. Suter, sky blue georgette; Miss Freda Suter, sea green organdie; Miss Noel Self, scarlet georgette.
