NATIONAL RESERVE
The annual meeting of the Women's National Reserve was held at Bishopscourt yesterday afternoon, the president, Mrs. F. Fitchett, presiding. The annual report stated that the' work of looking after soldiers' dependants had been carried on quietly during. the year. The rest room was still justifying its existence, the average attendance being about 2000 mothers a week. Members of the society visited the rooms occasionally, and any new need in the way of furniture was supplied. As the result of several bridge, afternoons given by members, a sum of over £9 had been added to the funds of the reserve.' The balance-sheet showed a satisfactory financial position. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patroness, Mrs. Averill (reelected); president, Mrs. F. Fitchett (reelected) ; vice-presidents, Mrs. John Cook, Mrs. H. R. Hesketh, Mrs. McGarry (re-elected) and Mrs. H. Gulliver; secretary and treasurer, (re-elected). A vote of thanks to Mrs. Fitchett for her practical help during the year was passed. <
