IMPROVING CONDITIONS PRICES ON THE UP GRADE SYDNEY, Sept. 3 In a special message the Premier of New South Wales, Mr. B. S. Stevens, claimed that Australia has turned the corner and that the great bulk of the people will soon feel the benefit. "Signs that the depression has ended and that the world has turned the corner are apparent overseas," he said. "Although the advances in world parity of primary products as yet are slight, the graph has taken the upward curve for many products, including wool, .grain, metals, cotton and even silk.

"The flight of capital from this State has ended and money is returning. In the last threo months the number of unemployed in New South Wales has decreased by more than 20,000."
