REDUCED INTEREST
LOANS TO LOCAL BODIES NEW SOUTH WALES PROPOSAL (Received September 4. 10.45 p.m.) SYDNEY. Sept. 4 The New South Wales Government shortly will reduce the rate of interest ou money lent to municipal and other bodies. This is regarded as a gesture in the campaign for reducing costs and stimulating industry. The banks are expected to follow suit.
