CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH Auckland. —A boisterous soutfi-wesfl wind was blowing on Saturday and occasional showers wero experienced. In tha evening the wind moderated and after* wards fine weather prevailed. The barometer is well above normal. After rising since Friday nignt it registered 30.40 in. last night. Wellington.—Fine weather prevailed in Wellington during the week-end.-Saturday was dull with a and yesterday was a perfect day with bright sunshino and a northerly breeze.
