A CARD EVENING
Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Hooker were host and hostess at a card evening given in the Ngataringa Tennis Club's pavilion on Saturday in aid of funds for the Stanley Bay Bowling Club. The rooms where the tables were set out were artistically arranged with spring blooms. The ladies of the committee provided and served the supper. The prize winners were:—Mrs. R. McMaster,. Miss R. Ross, Mr. L. S. Bates and Mr. L. Cusworth. Among the players were: —Mrs. Airey, Mrs. Bremucr, Mrs. Bush, Mrs. L. Cusworth, Mrs. T. Clark, Mrs. F. J. Hooker, Mrs. R. Hughes, Mrs. I). Jones, Mrs. McMaster, snr., Mrs. 11. McMaster, Mrs. Rushton, Mrs. Webster, Mrs. Weller, Miss I). King, Miss G. King, Miss McMaster, Miss Stewart, Miss R. Ross, Miss D. Wyatt.
