SATURDAY'S RESULTS ONE NEW ZEALAND WIN SUCCESS OF MANAWHENTA AUTOPAY RUNS THIRD (Rei'eived September 4, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 3 Tho only New Zealand winner at the Canterbury Park meeting to-day was tho Auckland gelding Manawhenua, who triumphed in the September Handicap, beating among others Strength, last year's surprise winner of the Metropolitan Handicap at ltandwick. Manawhenua just prevailed by a head, and he ran the milo and three furlongs, tho longest distance at which he has yet been successful, in £m 245. Other New Zcalanders, Autopav and King March, finished third in the Canterbury Stakes and tho Campsic Handicap respectively, but the other Dominion representatives were all beaten out of a place. Autopav behaved badly at tho barrier and was placed on tho outside. Tho three-year-olds Silver Ring and Gaino Carrington were both unplaced in tho Canterbury Stakes,/ Silver Ring finishing seventh and Gaine Carrington last. Princo Pombal and Mungatoon ran unplaced in tho Three-year-old Handicap, and True Shaft and Hunt tho Slipper in the first/ division of the Flying Handicap. Results: — SEPTEMBER HANDICAP,
