'-T-* -V. / , ' FULL MILITARY FUNERAL* [by lELEOBATH —Pa ESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, SaturdayA full military funeral was accorded Miss Hester Maclean, formerly matron-in-chief of the New Zealand Expeditionary * Force. The Rev. H. E. K. Fry, Chaplain to the Forces, conducted the service at St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral and at the crematorium. Captain D. H. Donaldson, New Zealand • Staff Corps, represented the General Officer Commanding the New" Zealand military forces. The pall-bearers were members of the permanent staff and the Royal New Zealand Artillery, Wellington. v The firing party was nnder the command of Staff Sergeant-Major Bauer, and was selected from the permanent staff at Trentham. , . The funeral was largely attended by all sections of the community, and in the body of the church were some 50 military nursing sisters, who served with. the Forces during the war. : , .
